Celebrating Sohnar’s achievements abroad

Whilst in Sydney on a Ministerial visit, Meg was delighted to congratulate Sohnar who have won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category. This award is one of the most prestigious honours that can be bestowed on any business.

 

Sohnar are a leading UK software company, getting their name from the fabled ship of legendary treasure hunter Sinbad. They struck gold with the pioneering ‘Traffic’ software programme, launched from the back-bedroom of a house in London just five years ago. Since then the company has risen to become a multi-million pound international business, with customers in nine countries and offices in Edinburgh, London, Sydney and New York.

 

The ‘Traffic’ system has become the preferred system of more than 4,000 creative workers on over 76,000 projects across the world. Users typically work in graphic design - web design, multimedia, digital, advertising, design for print, interior design, package design, product design, PR, marketing and branding.
