Madrid Visit

Foreign Office Minister Meg Munn visited Madrid as part of an inspection tour of the British Consulate organisation in Spain. Whilst in Madrid, she discussed consular crisis response and management with the local Mayor, police chief and tour operators. She also attended a meeting with Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), including Age Concern and the Royal British Legion, to discuss issues affecting the 350,000 elderly British nationals living in Spain.
