Meeting Anchor Court Residents

Thursday, April 17, 2008

During a recent visit around Norfolk Park, Heeley MP Meg Munn and Councillors Julie Dore and John Robson went to see residents of Anchor Court. A number of residents had raised concerns about the building work in front of the residential home which is making life difficult to get out and about. So they went along to see what the problems were.

Whilst there residents raised a number of issues the main one concerned the lack of provision to help them get to a bus stop, which is through the busy building site. Meg, Julie and John said they would investigate and see what they could do to assist.

Councillor Robson had some good news for residents, the City Council’s Park/Heeley Area Panel, which he Chair’s, would send round the Community Forester to plant trees around Anchor Court to improve the environment.
