Norton students visit Parliament

Heeley MP Meg Munn met with a group of students from Norton College when they visited Parliament recently. The Practical Skills for Independent Living group had been studying government and parliament and wanted to see the iconic building for themselves.

 

Meg discussed with them her job as an MP, and they had a number of questions about her role as their representative in Parliament. She showed them round the Palace of Westminster, and even managed to take them into the House of Commons chamber itself.
