10 Years for ‘Places for People’ at Norfolk Park

Friday, October 1, 2010

Sheffield Heeley MP Meg Munn was recently invited by ‘Places for People’ to see the last few homes available in their regeneration project in Norfolk Park. Their work, now in its 10th year, has created a beautiful place where local people want to live and work in.

The properties across the site are a mix of houses to rent and purchase, as well as some available on a shared ownership basis. All of the houses are built within the specification for ‘green’ homes, with insulation and solar panels to help reduce emissions and keep household bills down.

This particular area in Norfolk Park offers two, three and four bedroom homes suitable for families, young professionals and older couples alike. Meg chatted to one couple who had been in their new home just over a week who were delighted to be in the area.

Meg said:

“After much work the re-development of Norfolk Park is almost complete. Places for People have done a fantastic job in providing houses that are both affordable and attractive.

The shared ownership houses offer an opportunity to get on the housing ladder for those who would otherwise be unable to buy."

‘Places for People’ is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK. To find out more about ‘Places for People’ visit their website on: http://www.placesforpeople.co.uk/
