A spot of lunch at Spectrum Active

Local MP Meg Munn popped into the Café at Spectrum Active for a spot of lunch and a catch up with employees and Manager Duncan Whitman this week. Whilst enjoying a delicious bowl of homemade carrot and coriander soup with a side of warm bread, she chatted to others enjoying their lunch.

 

Spectrum Active, located on Hemsworth Road, support people with learning difficulties through work based activities, education and training as well as occupationally therapy groups. The Café is run by volunteers to help raise money to support the work of Spectrum Active.

It was well worth calling in, the food was lovely! And a fantastic price as well. I would recommend it to anyone.”
