Stradbroke and the Housing Manager

Monday, April 18, 2011

Local MP Meg Munn organised a meeting with Sheffield Homes about anti-social behaviour that was occurring on the Stradbroke estate. She was accompanied to the meeting by members of the Stradbroke Tenants and Community Association (TACA) and they met Paul Voyse, Sheffield Homes Manager for the area, to discuss various problems on the estate.

The members of Stradbroke TACA were concerned that anti-social events they were reporting were not being acted upon.  Paul stressed to them that the people who witnessed such events must report it directly to Sheffield Homes by using the 101 number or calling Crystal Peaks housing office.  The residents hoped that following the meeting they would be able to work in partnership with Sheffield Homes to make Stradbroke a better place to live.

Meg said:

“I was pleased to be able to facilitate this meeting to resolve some issues on the estate. It is important that residents are able to live together and that problems are highlighted before they become a significant problem.”
